Teen  Program Manager

Shalom Task Force (STF) seeks to combat and prevent domestic violence in the Jewish community to help those that may not have access to traditional services and need culturally sensitive programming.

Shalom Task Force is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Teen  Program Manager to join our Education team. This role is critical in coordinating and overseeing our high school workshop and fellowship programs, presenting at schools, and facilitating small group sessions.  The position is 32 hours a week, with an option for full time, and requires availability to facilitate one evening group session weekly from home. The office is based in NYC, and a minimum of two days/week are spent in the office and/or at schools. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the coordination and implementation of high school programs, including our workshops, Purple Fellowship and Future Community Leaders. 

  • Deliver presentations to students at schools, camps, and community groups. 

  • Build and maintain relationships with Jewish and Yeshiva high schools. 

  • Engage with key stakeholders to promote program participation and support. 

  • Coordinate with volunteer high school education presenters. 

  • Ensure volunteers are well-prepared and supported in their roles. 

  • Contribute to development of curriculum for high school programs. 

  • Stay current with trends affecting Jewish teens and young adults to tailor presentations effectively. 

Qualifications: 

  • MA, MSW or related degree preferred, SIFI eligible preferred.  

  • Strong familiarity with Jewish communities across North America, with a focus on Orthodox and Ultra-Orthodox communities. 

  • 2-4 years of previous work experience in the education field, including schools, camps, youth groups, and after-school programs. 

  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills. 

  • Proven project management skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). 

  • Knowledge of Canva is a plus. 

  • Ability to work one night a week.

Hours and Salary: This position will be 4 days a week (32 Hours) or 5 Days a Week (Full Time). Salary range is between $58,000-$70,000 commensurate with experience and FT/PT schedule.
