The Purple Fellowship

Apply Today for Cohort #6!

The Purple Fellowship is our newest program for high school juniors and seniors to gain important leadership skills while deepening students’ understanding of domestic abuse in the Jewish community.

Our goal is that the students involved with the Fellowship will not only gain a true understanding of Shalom Task Force’s mission, but will encourage students to continue to take on leadership roles in Jewish communal work.

This Fellowship will commence with fellows planning Go Purple Day for their schools.

Students Will Receive:

  • A 9-week curriculum that will be taught once a week over Zoom by our committed staff and exciting guest lecturers.

    • Topics include: healthy relationships, red flags, boundaries, supporting a friend, stigma, barriers to coming forward, meeting with local resources, event planning, and elevator pitches.

  • A certificate recognizing their completion of the fellowship

  • Exciting leadership opportunities

  • Purple Fellowship swag to wear on Go Purple Day
